Meeting Objectives
This interactive, practical, workshop aims to:

-Improve awareness of diagnosis and treatment of PE & PH

-Gain insight into PH and PE in women, pregnancy and other related conditions

-Increase awareness of risks confronting the anaesthetist

-Gain insight into risk stratification and periop issues

-Promote early diagnosis and patient referral, as appropriate

-Discuss new pharmacological treatments

-Promote guideline recommended referral pathways and management

Target audience & Registration fees
This meeting’s scientific programme offers a wide scope that will be of interest to anaesthetists, respiratory medicine consultants, cardiology consultants, haematology consultants, general practitioners and general medicine trainees, nurses and health professionals with an interest in pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary embolism, as well as trainees in all of these fields.


This workshop is offered free of charge to UK registered health professionals with a specialist interest in the diagnosis and management of pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary embolism and related areas.

This educational activity  has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 6 category 1 (external) CPD credit(s).
